Yarn bombed a tree downtown today. It was a wee little yarn bombing today. I am going to add to it every week.

A little bit of yarn bombing a little bit of art. Truly a great time.

it was a collaborative project with Poet Bakersfield. He added a painting of the Joker and some Anarchy Christmas tree ornaments and some painted spray paint cans.

Portable Yarn Bombing

I received some very special yarn bombing items from http://knitshanknit.blogspot.com    I have placed two of them and still have to find a special place for the last one.

 this is at Bakersfield Veteran memorial. It is such a beautiful memorial I just had to put one here.

 This little guy got to overlook the water at Mill Greek Park until someone took him home.

 This little hat also got to enjoy the water for a little bit as well.











I am going to be downtown this weekend with my handy dandy tape measure to take some measurements for some more permanent yarn bombing goodness. I have also been thinking about grabbing a stray Target cart from the neighborhood and making it all pretty with yarn and taking it back to Target after it is closed. So many ideas so little time, lol
